Their love for each other was infectious. Jenny couldn't stop smiling all day long. Ruben was the perfect gentleman from start to finish. These two wanted to make sure that they included their faith throughout the day and made sure to talk to everyone there that day.
The morning started with a short rain and clouds in the sky. The air was fresh and cool. The afternoon brought the typical Colorado blue skies.
Ruben and Jenny expressed a desire to incorporate as many friends and family into the wedding day as possible. The children Jenny has worked with for some time helped her with her veil as she walked down the aisle. Their parents brought up the gifts up during Mass. Their family was in the wedding party. They also have a very special connection to the priest. He is Jenny’s brother!
Ruben and Jenny wanted to start their marriage with a strong foundation on Jesus. Right after Mass they invited the guests to pray a rosary with them. Ruben led his new wife and their guests in their first rosary as a married couple.
The entire day was filled with smiles, hugs all around, old and new friends, toasts in English and Spanish, chocolate covered strawberry sculptures, and a deep devotion to Jesus and the merging of two families.
What an honor to witness this marriage. Thank you both.
