Last night I took a couple quick pictures for our son's 9 months. It is just a bit past 9 months but something is better than nothing.

Photo Books

It is great to have digital pictures to email, post on Facebook or have on your phone but sometime you want to have an album to put on the coffee table or have to look at during family gatherings.

I have included 3 different examples of the photo books that we have made.

We made this album using My Publisher which uses a downloadable program for design. 

The other book my lovely assistant put together was from a second online company. Is it better?...no I think they both have their strengths. You might remember this family from this previous post. (put a hyperlink here) Have a look at their book.

The other photo book that we have put together is smaller than the first two but the binding and general quality of the book was exceptional.

We still have one more family to make a book for and I think we will try yet one more company.

The library on my iPod

I went to check out a book today at the library but alas I could not find it at any of the branches. I turns out that I can now check out a book to be downloaded to my iPod.

The Pikes Peak Library District now uses a service called OverDrive to digitally check out audio books. I downloaded their program and the book from the library and I can listen to the book until February 20th when the book will simply "return" to the library.

This should really help me further the automobile university courses.
