The family headed to the high country today to check out some aspen trees. It turns out we were about a week late. Most of the trees had turned and the leaves had fallen or the leaves were green and dying. We did find a couple good trees here and there.
We also stopped to take a couple portraits. This was taken with a high speed sync flash that was mounted to the camera. It would have been nice to get the flash off camera and get a loop light on her face. The highspeed sync speed blurred the background and allowed it to be exposed correctly instead of blown out.
Lastly, this evening I took some picture of a rosary on a white sheet of foam core. The light was placed above the rosary approximately 1’ with a shoot through umbrella.
