I picked up How to Talk to Anyone yesterday and have been listening to it in the car. There are some great ideas on there although sometimes I think the author who is reading the book is just a little too joyous. Some good ideas are to pretend that every door way you go through lifts you up by the chin. You want to enter a room with confidence and be the best there. Another idea was to wait a second when first talking to someone or after making eye contact to smile. It gives them the impression they are super important. They seem to be everyday things to try out but it is always good to hear them again.
